You Are Already Blessed: Walking in the Inheritance of Christ
Discover how God's blessings through Christ are already yours
Welcome to this week's edition of Anchored in Faith. Whether you've been with me since the beginning or just recently subscribed, thank you. I'm so grateful for each and every one of you. To all my friends, family, and faithful readers and subscribers on YouTube, your continued support means the world to me. And to those who are new, welcome! This is a place where mindfulness meets meaning through God's word, and I pray it brings peace, purpose, and encouragement to your life.
This week, we're focusing on something we often overlook: our divine inheritance. Through Christ, we’ve been given the most extraordinary gift: spiritual blessings that stretch far beyond what we can see.
I created this week's meditation, "Blessed Through Christ," as a quiet yet powerful reflection to remind us just how much we’ve already been given. It’s just 10 minutes long, making it perfect for any time of day, and it’s easy and peaceful for those new to Christian meditation. Be sure to tune in after you read the rest of the newsletter 😉
Anchor of the Week:
“In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will.” —Ephesians 1:11
What It Means to Be Blessed Through Christ:
As we go about our daily routines, it's easy to forget how truly blessed we are. We move through life using modern conveniences without pausing to consider the unseen work and generosity behind them. The same is true with our spiritual inheritance. We don’t often reflect on what God has already provided through Jesus. Salvation, peace, purpose, grace, and His abiding love, these are not earned but freely given.
We are not only blessed with forgiveness but also empowered to live in freedom, equipped with the Holy Spirit, and promised an eternal home. That’s a powerful truth to carry into your week.
Biblical Wisdom – Joseph’s Story:
Let’s take a deeper look at the story of Joseph, a powerful example of God’s blessings and purpose working behind the scenes.
Joseph, the favored son of Jacob, was sold into slavery by his jealous brothers. Stripped from his family, falsely accused by Potiphar’s wife, and thrown into prison, Joseph had every reason to feel abandoned. But Scripture tells us “the Lord was with Joseph” through every hardship.
While Joseph waited in the darkness of a prison cell, God was orchestrating something bigger. Joseph interpreted dreams, gained favor with Pharaoh, and eventually rose to second-in-command over all of Egypt. When famine struck the land, it was Joseph, the once cast-out by his own brothers, who saved countless lives, including theirs.
Joseph’s story reminds us that we may not always see the blessing while we’re in the pit, but God is always working behind the scenes. Our inheritance through Christ includes the promise that He is with us in the pain, preparing us for something greater.
Prayer for the Week:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the incredible inheritance we’ve received through Your Son. Help us to remember that we are not only forgiven but also deeply loved and divinely equipped for every season of life. Quiet the noise of this world so we can hear Your voice and recognize the blessings already around us. Remind us daily that we are chosen, cherished, and called according to Your purpose. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Final Thoughts:
To all who are new, I hope you feel encouraged and spiritually inspired here. And to those who have been faithfully reading and tuning in on YouTube, your support continues to bless me more than I can express.
Let’s remember today and always that God’s love, His promises, and our place in His kingdom are already ours. You are blessed, not because of what you’ve done, but because of who He is. We don’t have to strive for what’s already ours. We just need to receive it.
Until next week-
With gratitude and grace,
Amber ❤️⚓
