From Brokenness to Breakthrough
When Life Feels Like It's Falling Apart, We Must Remember God's Game Plan
If you’re like me, there have been moments in your life when you have felt completely broken. Whether it was a loss, a betrayal, a season of depression, a dream that felt like it was slipping through your fingers, or just the overwhelming weight of life itself, at one time or another, you’ve been there. Perhaps you’re there now.
The weird thing is, feeling broken doesn’t always look like falling apart on the outside. Most often, it’s the silent ache of holding everything together when everything inside of you feels shattered.
But here’s the truth I want to speak to your heart this week: you are never truly broken in God’s eyes.
This chaotic world may crack our confidence, finances may shake our stability, heartbreak might bruise our joy, but nothing can ever break the spirit that God has placed inside you. God doesn’t walk away from broken things—He draws near to them. He gathers up our bits and pieces and makes them whole in His timing and His way.
I created this week’s "Healing Prayer Meditation for the Broken," as a lifeline of love and peace. It’s an invitation to sit with God, to let His healing presence wrap around the pieces of your life, and to gently remind yourself that brokenness is not the end—it’s the beginning of God’s restoration in your life.
You can tune into it 👉👉👉HERE
Anchor of the Week:
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
Psalm 34:18
What to Do When You Feel Broken:
When you're walking through a season of brokenness, here are a few things you can do to begin reconnecting with God’s healing power:
Speak Scripture Over Yourself – Declare God’s promises. Verses like Psalm 147:3, Isaiah 41:10, and Romans 8:28 remind you of His truth and faithfulness.
Journal Your Prayers – Pour your heart out onto the page. Sometimes writing allows us to release the heaviness we are carrying around and invite God into those deep places.
Listen to Worship Music – Let the lyrics wash over you. Choose songs that speak of God’s comfort and presence. This is a great one 👉Here
Spend Time in Nature – Walk outside and observe the beauty around you. Creation is one of God’s ways of reminding us that life continues to be beautiful and that He is still good.
Reach Out for Prayer – Don't isolate. Ask someone to pray with you or over you. Connection brings light into the darkness. **If you are in need of prayer please respond to this email with any prayer request so we can pray for you.
Use Guided Meditation – Take time to reconnect spiritually by listening to biblically-based meditations. 👉Click here to find one that speaks to your heart.
Prayer for the Week
Heavenly Father,
When we feel like the pieces of our lives are scattered beyond repair, remind us that You are the God who restores, rebuilds, and renews. Thank You for meeting us in our mess and turning it into something beautiful. Wrap Your peace around every hurting heart reading this. May we be reminded that brokenness is not failure; it’s where Your love begins to heal us.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Scripture to Soak In
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” —Psalm 147:3
This scripture is a constant reminder and promise that God is actively involved in our healing. When you feel like you can’t go another step, He’s the one carrying and restoring you.

I know what it’s like to feel broken. I’ve been there more times than I can count. All of the times when I couldn’t see a way out, when I felt like I had failed beyond repair, looking back, I can now see the fingerprints of God all over those dark moments. He was working. He was healing. He was preparing me for something better.
If you’re feeling torn in two right now, I want to leave you with these verses and some companion meditations to bring peace to your heart. These are a few I cling to when times get tough:
