Break Free from Anxiety – God’s Peace is Waiting for You
Anxiety has a way of creeping in when we least expect it. One moment, everything feels fine, and the next, worry takes hold. Our minds start racing with fear, doubt, and uncertainty. But we must know that anxiety does not have the final say.
God never intended for us to live in a state of constant worry. His peace is available to us, no matter what we’re facing. If you’re struggling with anxious thoughts, I want to remind you today that you are not alone, and God’s peace is bigger than your fear.
This week, I encourage you to tune into our newest meditation: “Anxiety is Not Welcome Here” I created this meditation to help you release your worries, quiet your mind, and rest in God’s perfect peace. Click here to listen now.
Anchor of the Week: God’s Peace Over Anxiety
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:6-7
Anxiety tells us we need to control everything. God tells us to release everything into His hands. Our peace doesn’t come from having all the answers, it comes from trusting that He is already working things out for our good.
Gratitude Corner: Thanking God for Peace
One of the best ways to fight anxiety is to practice gratitude. Focusing on what God has already done for us reminds us that He is still in control.
This week, I’m so grateful for:
The peace that comes when I hand my worries to God.
The moments of stillness where I feel His presence.
The strength He gives me to overcome my fears.
What are you grateful for today? Pause, take a deep breath, and thank God for one thing right now.
Anxiety can make us feel like we’re alone, but the truth is, almost all of us can say we have walked through similar struggles.
If God has helped you overcome a season of anxiety, your story could bring comfort to someone else. Each month, I highlight a subscriber’s testimony to encourage our community. If you feel led to share how God brought peace into your life, reply to this email.
Faith Goals: Releasing Anxiety to God
If you’re struggling with anxiety, it’s okay and please know you don’t have to stay in that place. Here are a few faith goals to help you step into God’s peace this week:
Memorize a scripture that brings peace. Write it down and repeat it when anxious thoughts come.
Pause and breathe. When worry rises, take a moment to inhale deeply and remind yourself: “God is in control.”
Limit distractions that fuel anxiety. Step away from social media, news, or anything that increases your stress.
Pray instead of spiraling. When anxious thoughts arise, turn them into a conversation with God.
